I remember awhile ago someone mentioning in the email group the idea of us all participating in an illustration challenge. It would be illustrating a scene from a classic story and then they had someone who was going to do a critique. I remember there was a discussion about what story to use, whether or not the critique would be paid or not and how much, and how much time we would get to work on it. I don’t remember for sure, but I think it was supposed to be due in June or July.
So, what happened with that?
Why do I feel like I’m hogging this blog by posting my stuff? I think I’ll just add this one as a link. Here you go: http://karenbethjones.wordpress.com/2012/02/19/illustration-friday-fluid/
What are the rest of you up to this week?
I’ve created a blog post about our trip to the SCBWI Winter Conference in New York. You can read it on my blog at http://www.andiosiek.com/blog/514
I can’t express how much I wish that ALL of you had been able to attend. I know that Katie, John and I all came away totally inspired and ready to get back to work. We will look forward to sharing more with those of you who can attend the next Picture Book Study Group in KC.
In the meantime, keep creating!
